Appreciation

Thomas Murimi

Mrs. Leah Nchagwa Murimi and entire family of the late Thomas Murimi wish to express their sincere gratitude to the Government of Kenya, relatives, friends and well-wishers for their support during our most trying time of mourning following the untimely demise of Thomas Murimi. The late Murimi met his death on a helicopter crush in Kibiku area of Ngong on 10th June this year. We extend our thanks to His Excellency President Hon. Mwai Kibaki, the Prime Minister Rt Hon. Raila Odinga, The Vice President Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, Speaker National assembly Hon. Kenneth Marende,  the cabinet, Assistant ministers, members of parliament, for their words of encouragement and support during the time of grief. We wish to thank Mrs. Margaret Saitoti for her moral and material assistance. We have been greatly moved and touched by her sincere expression of appreciation for the dedication, commitment and loyalty that Murimi exhibited towards Prof. Saitoti. We also wish to extend our appreciation to the Commissioner of Police Mr. Mathew Iteere and the Police department for their support and the funeral committees for a well-organized burial arrangement.

Finally we wish to pay our gratitude to the Holy Family Basilica, PEFA church Kabete - Nairobi and Nyambiringo, Kuria Clergy for officiating church Mass, and burial Rites for Murimi.

Since it is not possible to mention everyone individually, kindly accept this as an expression of our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all of you.
