Appreciation
The entire family of the Late Mrs. Maureen Kimani Gittao, wishes to express profound gratitude and appreciation to all those who steadfastly stood with us, through the agonizing time when our beloved Maureen passed on after a short illness at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C., U.S.A. We also extend our sincere heartfelt thanks to our relatives, in-laws, neighbors, friends, colleagues and well wishers for their overwhelming love and support, they extended to us through prayers, personal visits, messages, financial and material assistance. Special thanks go to the doctors and Nurses of Washington Hospital Center, the management and the staff of Mcquire Funeral Home USA, the funeral-organizing committees in Washington D.C. and Nairobi, also to the management and staff of Umash Funeral Services. We extend similar sentiments to Kenyans in the Diaspora for their immeasurable assistance in various ways, the entire congregation of ACK St Luke’s Church Kenyatta led by the Vicar Rev. Joyce W. Kariuki for hosting services during the entire funeral and burial ceremonies.
We cannot forget Jonathan Gloag School fronted by its founder Ms Ann Gloag for the invaluable financial and other material contributions, the teachers, staff, parents and students for their messages of love and encouragement in their songs and poems on their departed colleague, friend and teacher. We cherish the daily condolence messages and pre of the Kenyatta Market Fraternity both at home and in Church and for their financial and material contributions. Since is not possible to mention everyone who in one way or the other played a part in easing our heavy burden, kindly accept this message as our humble acknowledgement of your selfless support and contribution in whatever form the Almighty God enabled you to make.
“Maureen, in God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever.”
