Celebration Of A Life Well Lived

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we wish to announce the passing on of Leah Njeri Ngugi, which occurred on January 17^th 2011 after suffering from Throat Cancer. She was the Wife of the late Ngugi Waweru Gathige. She hails from Mutu-ini Village near Mutu-ini Primary School and is a Member of PCEA Manyatta  Church Women’s Guild. She is the Daughter of the late Kamotho Kimani Wagaara and the late Wagaaki wa Ngotho.

She is sister to Ruth Wanjiru Mbuthia, Wangui, Njunji, the late Njoroge Kimani Kamotho “Wa Kamos”, the late Wambui Kimani Kamotho and the late Ngotho Kimani Kamotho. She is the loving Mother to Hannah Ng’endo Kamau, Josiah Ngugi Waweru, Monicah Wanjiru, Gladwell Wanjiku Kagai, Dr. Kamotho Ngugi Kimani, Ruth Waithira Ndungi and the late James Ngigi Ngugi.

Grandmother to Stanley Nyoike Kamau, Wambui, Njeri(several), Ngugi(several), Njoroge among others. She is a Great Grandmother to many. Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Mutu-ini, Dagoretti from 6.30PM for Prayers. Cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on January 28^th 2011 for the Funeral Service at PCEA Manyatta Church, Dagoretti and there after she will be laid to rest at her home, Mutu-ini village near Mutu-ini Primary School.
