Appreciation

Mrs. Mary Ojodeh, Andy Ojodeh and the entire family of the Late Hon. Joshua Orwa Ojodeh. MP wish to thank Kenyans, friends and everyone who shared in our grief following the tragic death of our beloved Hon Joshua Ojodeh who died at Kibiku in Ngong through a tragic helicopter crash on Sunday 10th June 2012. Your prayers, messages of condolences, tributes, and visits to our homes in Nairobi and Unga Farm gave us comfort during this difficult time.

We thank His Excellency Hon. Mwai Kibaki CGH, MP, President of the Republic of Kenya for his support to our family through his visit to our home and also his presence at the requiem mass at the Central SDA church and at Unga farm in Ndhiwa. We thank you for the support we have received even after the burial.

We thank the Rt. Honorable the Prime Minister, Hon Raila Odinga and Mrs Ida Odinga for their support during this difficult time. To the Vice-President Hon Kalonzo Musyoka thank you for chairing the government funeral committee. We also thank the Deputy Prime Ministers Hon Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon Musalia Mudavadi, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon Kenneth Marende, cabinet ministers, assistant ministers especially the pall bearers, and members of parliament for their visits and personal condolences.

We thank the retired President Hon Daniel Arap Moi who condoled with us . We also extend our thanks to members of the Diplomatic Corps who represented their countries in Nairobi and at the funeral. We thank His Eminence John Cardinal Njue for his kind words and encouragement.

To the Permanent Secretary, Head of the Civil Service and Secretary to the Cabinet Mr. Francis Kimemia, Permanent Secretary Internal Security and Provincial Administration Mr. Mutea Iringo and the entire provincial administration, we thank you for your coordination, support and the help you continue to extend to us. Thank you.

We thank Pastor. Paul Mwasia, C.E.O of East Africa Union, SDA Church, Pastors. Alfred Marundu, Dickson Kateti, Elder Kichari, Mrs Lilian Ratego and the Entire New Life Church family, Central SDA church and Wi Odielo SDA church, Unga SDA Church for conducting the prayers, songs, support and burial. Special thanks to the Liverpool SDA Church Pastor & Mrs Kiragu Mr & Mrs Chege for their support to Andy during the trying season. To the Managing Trustee Tom Odongo and the entire NSSF fraternity, thank you for the solace and encouragement.

The people of Ndhiwa constituency, you have entrusted the leadership of the constituency to Hon Ojodeh for almost two decades. We thank you for the support.

To Edrian Omondi & Barrack Ogwari and Murage, Nelson and Gordon and all the security detail of Hon Ojodeh, we thank you for your support, understanding and for going the extra mile.

To the media and those who grieved with us in one way or another, accept our appreciation as we may not be able to thank each one of you individually.
